Snug log cabin with a patio for espresso drinks & smoothies, plus baked goods & breakfast bites.
Bryce Canyon Coffee Co. occupies a log cabin on Main Street in Tropic, right along Scenic Byway 12 and about 10 minutes from the Bryce Canyon entrance. It's the most convenient spot in the gateway corridor to grab a proper espresso drink before heading into the park, which puts it on a short list in a small town.
The full espresso bar covers the standards — lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, cold brew — alongside smoothies and flavored specialty drinks. The baked goods are made in-house; Mr. B's Banana Bread is the standout item that regulars mention consistently. Breakfast bites are available for those who need more than a pastry before a long trail day.
The log cabin structure has a comfortable, low-key feel, and the patio seating is the draw in good weather — you're looking out at the Tropic valley with the Paunsaugunt Plateau in the background. It's a functional pre-hike stop, not a specialty roaster experience, but the quality is well above what you might expect from a small canyon-country town.
Hours run roughly 7 AM to 6 PM daily, though confirming by phone before early-season or late-season visits is worth the call. Parking on Main Street is easy, and the cafe is walkable from several Tropic lodging properties.

A must stop when in the area. The staff is unbelievably friendly and the coffee is the best we’ve had since being in Utah. Try the banana bread if you want something quick to take with you.

Amazing local coffee place with personality and friendly staff. Muffins were legit and their decent choice of coffee preparations.
