Rustic cabins and motel rooms with an on-site restaurant and outdoor pool for park visitors.
Three miles from Bryce Canyon's entrance, this sprawling resort property offers everything from basic motel rooms to standalone cabins with kitchenettes. It's the kind of place where function beats form. You're here for the proximity to the park, not the amenities, though they do have an outdoor pool that's nice after a day of hiking.
The restaurant serves standard American fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Nothing groundbreaking, but it gets the job done when you're too tired to drive anywhere else.
On-site conveniences include:
Gift shop with postcards, t-shirts, and forgotten toiletries
Small bar for planning tomorrow's hike over a beer
Outdoor pool for afternoon relaxation
The property shows its age, and housekeeping can be inconsistent. Some rooms are recently updated, others feel stuck in the 90s. The cabins offer more space and basic kitchen facilities (think microwave and mini-fridge), which works for families or longer stays. Just manage your expectations. This isn't luxury lodging.
What you're paying for is location. Roll out of bed and you're 10 minutes from Sunrise Point. That convenience matters when you're chasing golden hour light or trying to beat the crowds to popular viewpoints. The pool area provides a decent spot to relax in the afternoon when the park gets hot.
For budget-conscious travelers who prioritize park access over polish, it works. Book direct for better rates, especially in shoulder season. And if you get a cabin, check the corners and behind furniture before settling in.

Came to see Bryce, the hotel is super close to the park visitor center (10 min). I was nervous because of other reviews but honestly the room was great. The bed was comfy, shower was great (good pressure, hot water), and everything was super clean. I get where some other people are coming from with it being older, but you don’t really notice inside the room. Yeah the breakfast/diner situation is weird but Ruby’s is less than a minute down the road and has a stocked grocery store so I didn’t mind. tldr: If you want a higher end place with all amenities covered, go elsewhere. But for me, this was a fantastic place to stay while exploring the park.

I understand that, to a degree, you get what you pay for, but even considering the location, this felt like a $50-a-night hotel at best. The bed was terrible, the rooms looked like they hadn’t been updated since the 1960s, and the breakfast was pathetic. In the end, it provided a place to sleep and shower, but the overall quality was more like a rundown motel off the freeway than a hotel near Bryce Canyon.
