This is a very popular barbecue restaurant near Bryce Canyon National Park. The restaurant is located in a small town called Panguitch. We parked the car fairly easily, got out and immediately the wonderful aroma of bbq cooking on outdoor grills nearly replaced the air. A large cutout on the street corner of John Wayne welcomed us to good old bbq. This family run business has just the menu to excite. We ordered a Cowboy Gold Star Burger, Pulled Pork, and Quesadilla Beef. But what got us excited was the Gourmet Homemade Cobbler. We managed to limit ourselves to one Dutch Oven Style cobbler topped with ice cream. Took a lot to hold back from ordering two cobblers. I think the photos are enough to sense the restaurant has found a way to deliver success.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Cowboy Smokehouse Cafe & Steakhouse! We ordered two sandwiches and they were both incredible — delicious, generous, and made with high-quality ingredients. The sweet potato fries were absolutely amazing as well! The prices were very reasonable considering the quality and portions. The atmosphere is another highlight: a true cowboy-style setting, with typical Western decor that creates a really authentic and fun experience. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff throughout our visit. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and honest prices. Highly recommended! 🤠🥩🍟

Wow! This place was sooo good! Firstly our waitress Lindsay was so attentive and friendly- now the food on the way into the restaurant you can see the BBQ and smoker outside and smells so good. We ordered the jalapeño poppers which come wrapped in Bacon - omg worth going just for these! And then my wife had the ribs with mashed potato and gravy, i went for the 3 meat bbq platter (ribs,beef,chicken) My wife isn't a massive meat eater but she loved the ribs and the mash and gravy was so good she just wished there was abit more of it. My platter was really good my favourite was the beef so tender and then the ribs and the chicken was very tasty but a little dry. We really wanted the cheesecake but was so full - we may have to go back! A young 16 year old girl started singing in the next room and she had a lovely voice and they had the volume at just the right level in the restaurant. Overall really good meal and a must try if in the area.

After checking out the smoke pit around back, we were seated promptly with no wait. We ordered a local IPA, Johnny American which was a citrusy beer. My son had the wagyu burger with fries and mashed potatoes. He enjoyed the burger but the fries were on the salty side. The rest of us shared a three meat platter as my son was not very hungry. I would say that it would easily feed two hungry people. The meats had a good smoke flavour and were tender but not the best smoked meat I have tasted. A solid meal though.

Had a great dinner at Cowboy’s Smokehouse Cafe & Steakhouse with my group of 3. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, making it a really comfortable place to relax and enjoy the evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout the meal. The food was delicious, especially the steaks and smoked dishes, and the flavors were also suitable for Asian taste buds — well-seasoned without being too heavy. We spent around $20 per person, which felt very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely a nice spot for a casual dinner with friends!
