We have been visiting Panguitch for a few weeks and stopped in for breakfast last week and today at the Desert Grill. Both times our breakfast exceeded our expectations! Finally, someone who knows how to cook eggs. I had fried eggs and my husband scrambled eggs the first time we went. The eggs were cooked to perfection, especially the scrambled eggs. The sausage was delicious as were the pancakes. I homemake my pancakes and appreciated that these were from scratch, had delicious flavor, and were tender. Today, we tried the biscuits and gravy with sausage links and scrambled eggs. Great biscuits!!!! The eggs were again cooked perfectly, and everything was again delicious. The service was great with personable waitresses both times. We took home three of their homemade cinnamon rolls, which I also make from scratch, and they were excellent! We are going back to try lunch and dinner while we're here.

This place is a family hidden gem! Don't just pass it by... Good simple home cooking and my hubby said the BBQ was worth the entire stop. I had the Cow Pie (beef patty topped with mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and brown gravy served a top toast). Hubby had the King Brisket Sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Service was very quick with a smile. Back on the road fast but if we lived near by, we'd be in often! Thank you for taking good care of so close to closing!

They were able to hook me up with gluten free French toast, so I was pretty jazzed. My husband had the kielbasa skillet and said it was very buttery, so prepare for heavy meal. Other items were tasty, nothing too remarkable. Service was prompt and friendly. Great little diner.

Smoked Pulled Pork plater with delicious baked beans and refreshing coleslaw. Enjoyed the texture and flavor of the pork. King Brisket and fries sandwich was yummy. Country fried steak and mashed potatoes 😋 yummy.

This was a nice break from a long day drive through the mountains. The entrance is nice and well kept with knickknacks and souvenirs. We were greeted promptly and sat at a well lit table in a clean dining room. The menu is mostly BBQ and smoked meats which was expected as the entire restaurant smelled of the smoker out front where they were smoking ribs. I ordered the King Brisket sandwich and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of food, lots of flavor and the meat has an excellent smoke ring. It paired well with their baked beans. Prices are pretty good too. The server checked in a couple times and we were well taken care of. Overall, a great stop.
