I stayed in one of their cute cabins while visiting Escalante Grand Staircase. The cabin was very cozy and sweet, with lovely gardens all around. The bathhouse was separate, but very close by -- like a campground with cabins instead of tent sites. The Escalante Outfitters restaurant is just across the way, along with a great little shop. The food at the restaurant is excellent (they're known for their pizza). You can sit indoors or outdoors. It's very casual and comfortable. The folks there are very friendly. The adjoining shop carries everything from outdoor gear and t-shirts to books and postcards. I hurt myself on a hike nearby, and the woman in the shop gave me a bag of ice to put on my knee, which I appreciated. I would definitely stay here again. It was affordable, and the location is very convenient to Grand Staircase trails. If you have food with you, just know that the cabins don't have mini fridges. That was the only downfall for me. My cooler went warm.
