Valhalla Pizza
Casual seasonal spot offering pizza, Italian entrees & baked goods along with beer, wine & espresso.
About
Valhalla Pizzeria and Coffee Shop sits along Highway 63 in Bryce Canyon City, making it one of the most convenient sit-down dining options within the park gateway corridor. It operates seasonally out of the Bryce Canyon Lodge area, drawing hikers and road-trippers who want something more substantial than a gas station snack after a day on the rim.
What to Order
The menu centers on artisan pizzas, with reviewers frequently calling out the BBQ chicken and chicken pesto pies as standouts. Beyond pizza, the kitchen puts out pasta dishes, crisp salads, and house-baked goods including cookies and muffins. The coffee program is a genuine asset here — espresso drinks, lattes, and cappuccinos are well-made and welcome after an early-morning hike. Gluten-free pizza crust is available for those who need it.
Atmosphere and Logistics
The vibe is casual and unpretentious — think picnic-table energy with a proper kitchen behind it. Service can be stretched during peak summer afternoons when the park is at capacity, so arriving before noon or after 2 PM tends to mean shorter waits. Hours follow the park's shoulder-season rhythm, so confirm the kitchen is open before making it your only plan on early-spring or late-fall visits. Beer and wine are available alongside the coffee and soft drink options.
Location
At roughly a mile from the park visitor center, Valhalla is the rare combination of proximity and cooked-to-order food. It fills a real gap for travelers who want pizza and a glass of wine rather than drive 30 minutes to Tropic or Panguitch.

We grabbed coffee and pastries here this morning. Later we read handwritten, caring reminders on our cups. How did our sever know us so well? And how did she know we needed that kindness. Thank you so much. We'll pay it forward.

Very disappointing. The pizza does not match the price you pay for it. It's very gluey and cardboard taste.

My sister and I were here a couple weeks ago and just wanted to about out the barista who was working! She was so personable and friendly, and walked our pizza out which was so nice (we had just hiked 8 miles and our legs were exhausted). She was awesome!
