So beautiful. We did a little hike there. Truly beautiful to see the hoodoos. It definitely should be on everyone bucket list.

Massive 85-ft. arch carved out of sedimentary red rock by geologic forces over millions of years.
Natural Bridge is one of the most accessible geological features inside Bryce Canyon National Park — a freestanding arch spanning 85 feet across, carved from the iron-rich red Claron Formation by a combination of frost wedging, chemical weathering, and gravity over millions of years. Despite the name, it's technically an arch (formed by weathering rather than water erosion), but the NPS has retained the historic name since the site was first mapped.
The Natural Bridge Overlook sits at mile 12.25 along the main park road (UT-63), between Farview Point and Agua Canyon — roughly three-quarters of the way along the scenic drive. A small parking lot serves a paved, wheelchair-accessible overlook. You do not hike down to the formation; the view is from above, looking down into the drainage where the arch spans. On a busy summer day, the overlook is far less crowded than Sunrise or Sunset Point, and you can be there and back at the car in ten minutes.
The arch is accessible year-round, weather permitting. Morning light from the east catches the arch well, though the overlook faces roughly south, so midday is also serviceable. In winter, snow on the surrounding canyon walls adds contrast to the red rock. If you're driving the full scenic drive, plan Natural Bridge as part of a loop that also includes Farview Point (broad plateau views) and Agua Canyon (two prominent hoodoo spires).

Natural Bridge is one of the most impressive viewpoints in Bryce Canyon National Park, showcasing a massive natural rock arch carved by erosion. Despite the name, it’s technically an arch rather than a bridge, and it stands out beautifully against the surrounding hoodoos and canyon walls. The viewpoint is easily accessible by car along the Southern Scenic Drive, with a short walk from the parking area to the overlook. This makes it a great stop for visitors who want incredible views without doing a long hike. From the overlook, you get a clear and dramatic view of the arch framed by dense clusters of hoodoos below. The contrast between the red-orange rock and the surrounding formations makes this a fantastic photo spot. Natural Bridge is also a quieter stop compared to the main amphitheater viewpoints, so it feels more peaceful and less crowded. It’s a nice place to slow down and take in the scenery. This viewpoint fits perfectly into a scenic drive through Bryce, especially if you’re heading toward Rainbow Point or Yovimpa Point. Even a short stop here is well worth it. Overall, Natural Bridge is a must-see viewpoint in Bryce Canyon. It’s easy to reach, visually stunning, and offers a different perspective compared to the amphitheater views.

Absolutely Amazing! This viewpoint is very easy to get to from the parking lot. Many viewpoints to see traveling down into Bryce Canyon. There are roadside pullout areas and small parking lots. If you are driving a large vehicle use caution the canyon road is very narrow. I recommend visiting viewpoints on the right side going down into Bryce. Then coming back north out of the canyon visit viewpoints along the right side. The narrow canyon road gets so busy with visitors that its very hard making a left turn. At the very south end of Bryce is Rainbow Point and its a great place to sit and eat lunch and there are many picnic tables in this area. Sunrise/Sunset point was very busy with visitors i recommend getting here as early as you can. Once you find parking there is a nice large concrete walkway along the rim of the canyon and it joins the 2 points together. One other very important thing to remember the weather changes very quickly up here so be very prepared at certain times of the year!

Excellent area to take a motorcycle trip to. I love Utah scenery, and Bryce Canyon never disappoints. A hidden gem for motorcycle trips is taking the A12. Twisties and open canyon roads, you'll love it. There was plenty of parking at the end of March. I don't think it was busy season yet, weather was perfect.

Most photographed spot in Utah. Great cycling destination from Bryce City. Good climb. On the way back, stop and hike Queen’s Garden loop from Sunrise to Sunset climbing up Wall Strert.
