Coral Cliffs Golf Course
About
Coral Cliffs Golf Course sits at 755 East Fairway Drive on the east side of Kanab, tucked directly below the Vermillion Cliffs, about 80 miles and roughly 90 minutes from Bryce Canyon via US-89. Built in 1987, it's a 9-hole regulation course, par 36, playing 3,189 yards with a slope of 118 and a rating of 36.2 — approachable for most skill levels but with enough length to actually test you.
The setting is the draw as much as the golf. The course is nestled into the foothills below the Vermillion Cliffs, so you're playing with the same red-and-orange sandstone backdrop that makes this whole corner of Utah worth the drive. It's open year-round, walking is allowed if you'd rather skip the cart, and there's a driving range and practice putting green if you want to loosen up first.
Coral Cliffs works well as a stop on a Bryce-to-Zion loop through Kanab, or as a way to kill an afternoon if you're based in Kanab for a few days exploring the Grand Staircase-Escalante backcountry or Zion's east side. Cart and club rentals are available for anyone traveling light.
