About
The Agua Canyon Connecting Trail drops steeply from the rim to the Under-the-Rim backcountry trail below, a 1.6-mile strenuous route that descends about 1,201 feet while climbing 428 feet on the way down. Day hikers use it for an out-and-back with views over Agua Canyon and the Paria Valley beyond; backpackers use it as one of several access points onto the 23-mile Under-the-Rim Trail.
