We stayed at the Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn for one night and it was great. The location couldn't be any better for Bryce Canyon and you do not need to leave the property if you don't want to. They have a restaurant (we didn't eat in it but it was packed), a small grocery store, laundry mat and a souvenir shop that didn't have just tacky options! The front desk was very kind and gave us all of the information we needed. Regarding the hotel rooms - are they dated? Yes! BUT the rooms are very clean, spacious, comfortable and everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable too. Would I stay here again - absolutely!

If you’re looking for a clean, affordable place with everything you need, Ruby’s Best Western is hard to beat. The rooms were clean, the property was well maintained, and the location couldn’t be more convenient to Bryce Canyon National Park.
The biggest surprise was the breakfast buffet. It wasn’t your typical hotel breakfast…it was a full buffet with plenty of hot and cold options, and everything we tried was delicious. For our family of four, I honestly think it would have cost $50–60 if we’d paid for a similar breakfast at a restaurant. It was a tremendous value. And if you eat there, don’t forget to tip your server. - they work hard.
Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. It seemed like many of the employees were international students or seasonal workers, and they all did an outstanding job making guests feel welcome.
For the price, location, breakfast, and service, this place exceeded our expectations. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bryce Canyon.
We had a great stay at Best Western Ruby's Inn! We stayed in the Lakeview Lodge and have absolutely zero complaints.
The complimentary breakfast was excellent, and the location couldn't be more convenient. This property is much larger than I expected and has just about everything you could need within walking distance - 4 restaurants, a grocery/convenience store, alcohol, shopping, appeal store with name brands, ice cream, a laundromat, and even UTV and bike rentals. Once you're here, you really don't have to leave except to explore Bryce Canyon National Park, which is literally right outside the entrance. Shuttle transportation is right in front of the hotel.
The hotel is also very dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. Our room was a little dated, but it was clean, comfortable, had no odors, and was perfectly adequate for our stay. Everything was well maintained, and we had no issues at all.
The pool was busy, but that's simply because this is a large, popular property. Despite being full, the grounds and common areas were clean and well kept.
I'm honestly surprised by some of the lower reviews. If you're looking for a clean, convenient, reasonably priced place to stay while visiting Bryce Canyon, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
I booked 2 family suites. Each room had a king size bed, in a separate room, and 2 queen beds in the main room. The rooms are dated, ours had chipped paint in the bathroom. Ot a big deal as we only slept there. Housekeeping was very attentive and friendly. The location was perfect. The General Store, restaurant, diner and coffee shop were right there on site. The included breakfast buffet was great! Across the street was a fun area with a rock shop, ice cream shop, old jail, and gift shop. The rodeo was fun as well.
Well situated on the road to Bryce Canyon, Ruby's Inn offers a quiet and reasonably priced place to stay. Rooms were adequate with adjacent free parking and an indoor pool. There are multiple venues available--we were lodged in the main facility in a room adjacent to the pool. An integrated shop offers most anything you might need on a road trip or trek--a truly impressive array of clothing, hats, personal items, beverages, camp site paraphernalia, you name it. Impressive. The Cowboy buffet was not Michelin 2 star but reasonably priced and plentiful with multiple entrées, two salad bars, bread, and what-have-you. The soft serve ice cream machine was quite good and popular! I didn't care for the entrées and gave them a pass but enjoyed a very nice, fresh salad with a good selection of accoutrements and not less than four bowls of one of their four soups which was both delicious and satisfying. Included was a breakfast buffet with plentiful (if not mundane) offerings of bacon, scrambled eggs, toast/muffins, etc. A large dose of country gravy made it both satisfying and filling, and saved us $$ from having to try and find a suitable alternative (there aren't any!). The staff was friendly and the wife liked the room, so all good. I strongly recommend it if you're travelling to Bryce and need a place to stay.
