About

Bryce Canyon Inn sits in Tropic, Utah, roughly seven miles east of the park entrance along Highway 12 — close enough that you can reach Sunrise Point before the first tour buses arrive. The property mixes standard motel-style rooms with standalone cabins, and also runs the on-site Bryce Canyon Coffee Company, making it a self-contained stop for travelers who want convenience near the park.

Rooms and Cabins

Accommodations range from standard rooms with queen beds to Deluxe Cabins with a king bed, gas fireplace, walk-in shower, mini-fridge, and microwave, to larger Family Cabins with two separate bedrooms (one king, two queens), two bathrooms, a gas fireplace, and a covered porch. The largest option is a three-bedroom Family Suite with a full kitchen and laundry, suitable for groups of up to six. All rooms include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and cable TV.

Dining and Extras

The on-site pizzeria and Bryce Canyon Coffee Company handle both morning and evening meals — a genuine convenience when you want to stay close to the park. Hotel guests receive a 10% discount at the coffee shop. Free parking is available throughout the property.

Practical Notes

The property is seasonal, operating March through October, so confirm availability if you're planning a shoulder-season visit. No pets are allowed. Tropic has a handful of dining options along Main Street, and the turnoff to Bryce Canyon National Park is under a 15-minute drive west on Highway 12.

Beautiful log cabins that are spacious and have a very special charm. You have your own space; it's relatively quiet, you can hear the road a little, but the traffic isn't too heavy.

The Bryce Canyon Inn is okay for a one-night stay, but don’t expect too much. The motel is quite dated, with old carpeting and a slightly musty smell. It also lacks any real charm or atmosphere. It works if you simply need a place to sleep for one night, but there are probably better options around.
