Bryce Canyon Shadows Campground

Full hookups, clean facilities, and UTV rentals on Hwy 89

(110)
Panguitch, UT

About

Bryce Canyon Shadows Campground sits on Highway 89 in Panguitch, about 25 miles northwest of the Bryce Canyon National Park entrance. It is a privately operated campground and RV park that opened relatively recently and has built a reputation for clean facilities and a straightforward, no-frills setup suited to travelers using Panguitch as a base for the park and the surrounding region.

Site Types and Hookups

The campground accommodates a range of travelers:

  • RV sites with full hookups — 50/30/20 amp power, accommodating rigs up to 40 feet; note that sewer is not at individual sites (dump stations are available on property)
  • Back-in tent sites for tent campers
  • Economical bunkhouse accommodations
  • Glamping tents for those who prefer something between tent camping and a room

Amenities

On-site amenities include free Wi-Fi, potable water, modern restrooms and showers, and dump stations. Pets are welcome. Bryce UTV Rentals operates on the same property, offering off-road vehicle rentals for exploring nearby trails — a useful option if you want to cover terrain beyond what you can reach on foot.

Season and Booking

The campground operates April 1 through November 1. Panguitch itself has grocery stores, gas, and several restaurants, making it a more services-rich base than camping inside the park or in Bryce Canyon City. The drive to the park entrance on US-89 south to UT-12 runs through Panguitch Lake and Red Canyon, which is scenic in its own right.

This was an incredible stay 👏 I loved the roomy bathrooms and the shower was hot with great water pressure, a very welcome treat after a long day driving. The host was very informative and friendly and the instructions for staying were easy to follow. I enjoyed the offerings from the on-site store and they even have cute smores packets to purchase! Would highly recommend!!

We arrived, in ann RV, after hours and found the self checkin to be quick and easy! Even without a reservation it only took a few minutes. The view was spectacular! The bathrooms and showers were immaculate!! The water, electric and WiFi worked great! There are 2 dump stations on the way out which was very convenient!!

This was a surprise! Great location and full of amenities you just never get even expect from a RV park. We were traveling and looked for a overnight spot and were pleasantly surprised. We highly recommend Bryce Canyon Shadows.

Such a great experience! The property is clean, well maintained, and has a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere. The views are absolutely beautiful, with stunning mountains, endless green fields, and plenty of shady trees. It’s the perfect balance of feeling immersed in nature while still being close enough to nearby attractions and town. I would highly recommend this place to family, friends, or anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy some peace and quiet.
