Tropic, UT

About

Bryce Country Cabins occupies 20 acres of working farmland in Tropic, a small town just 5 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park's entrance on scenic Highway 12. The property mixes individual log cabins, cabin suites, and vacation homes in a setting that feels genuinely rural — not a resort approximation of it. Farm animals wander the grounds, and the Escalante Mountains form the backdrop.

Accommodations

The property offers a range of options from standard rooms to individual log cabins and multi-room family vacation homes. All 22 units are air-conditioned and include coffee makers and ceiling fans. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The variety makes it functional for couples on a quick Bryce trip as well as families needing more space over multiple nights.

Grounds and Extras

The farm setting is a draw in itself, particularly for families: farm animals to visit, a children's playground, a fire pit, picnic tables, and log swings on the lawn. The property is positioned directly on Highway 12, rated among the most scenic roads in the country, and sits between Bryce Canyon and the Escalante canyons — giving you easy access to both directions. The park entrance is roughly a 5-minute drive, and the town of Tropic has a handful of restaurants and a market within walking distance.

Don’t stay here if you need a room that is below 80 degrees. The a/c doesn’t adequately cool the room and to make matters worse they completely shut the a/c off before you arrive.

It’s everything you need. Great little cabin in a good location. Perfect for families and people on a budget. Would stay again!
