My wife and I stayed here for three nights and really loved being here. Our dome was very spacious and the AC worked great. It took a little extra time to check in for them to finish cleaning our rooms, but it was very clean and well maintained. They had some very good amenities to offer like the stargazing, burn pits and a really good restaurant. The only season I didn't give it five stars was because of the lack of good customer service and long wait time during our breakfast meal. We really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend.
This place is great. Unique and worthwhile experience. We will come back. Kids and adults alike had a great time.
Unfortunately our stay coincided with a full moon, so we only got a little 3-4am stargazing in with a properly dark sky, but was still great to be under a Bortle 2 for the hour we had it.
We also liked the restaurant, and general community area (firepits, horseshoes, corn hole, etc). And the restaurant is a fair price btw (saw people complaining about price in the reviews, but cmon that's what actually-nice food costs these days).
Anyway, looking forward to coming back here!
Clear sky Bryce Canyon is such a unique place to stay, and the stargazing domes are absolutely beautiful. The dome design is thoughtfully done, creating a cozy and relaxing experience unlike a typical hotel room. Instead of spending the evening watching TV, we enjoyed slowing down with a good book, making s'mores, roasting marshmallows by the fire, and taking in the incredible night sky. The views are breathtaking both during the day and at night.
A special thank you to Levi at the front desk. He was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely made our stay more enjoyable. His positive attitude set the tone for a wonderful visit and reflected the kind of hospitality you hope to find while traveling.
The only disappointment was our dining experience. Our waiter, Arturo, seemed inattentive and forgot our drinks. Even though we were dining in, my San Pellegrino was served in paper cups, which felt out of place. When I asked for lemon, I was given a very dry, old piece that should not have been served. I also felt our interactions were noticeably less friendly than those he had with other guests, which left us feeling uncomfortable.
Thankfully, one unpleasant dining experience didn't overshadow an otherwise memorable stay. The stunning scenery and unique accommodations make this a place we'd gladly return to.

We stayed at Clear Sky Resorts Bryce Canyon for three nights in August 2026. We’ve stayed at other glamping properties and were excited to experience what Clear Sky advertises as the “Future of Luxury Glamping.” While overall we had a pleasant stay, it didn’t quite live up to the hype—especially considering the $700+ per night price tag.
The concept is excellent, and the location is hard to beat, but the property is missing some attention to detail and maintenance I would expect at this price point. There were good and not-so-good aspects to our stay, which ultimately left us feeling it was just OK.
The Good:
*Great location. The resort is secluded enough for mostly dark skies, yet only about 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park and Bryce Canyon City.
*Friendly, helpful staff. Assistance was readily available by text or phone.
*Great stargazing. On our one clear night, we enjoyed a beautiful view of the stars through the large glass enclosure of our dome.
*Nice evening activities. Nightly campfires with s’mores and musicians at the nearby Sky Nova Café were pleasant diversions while we waited for clear skies.
*Comfortable accommodations. Our dome had everything we needed for a short stay, but didn’t quite feel like the “luxury” suggested by the marketing or price.
The Less-Than-Stellar:
-Location of the domes. The property is fairly large, and our dome was at the far end, making it inconvenient to walk to the main dome for activities or dining. We wish we had known the location when booking.
-When we arrived, our dome was full of flies. The front desk said it was simply “the season.” We asked for a fly swatter or fly traps, but they had neither. We later noticed housekeeping and maintenance routinely propped open dome doors while working, making it easy to understand how the flies got inside. At $700+ per night, I would expect some effort to keep the rooms reasonably fly-free.
-The mini fridge wasn’t working. We needed it for medication, and the front desk promptly had it fixed. Still, something this basic should be checked before guests arrive at a 'luxury' resort.
-Privacy curtain wasn’t as advertised. Our dome did not have the lower privacy curtain shown in some promotional videos. Instead, we had one massive floor-to-ceiling curtain that was essentially all-or-nothing. Other domes have a separate lower curtain, allowing guests to stargaze without feeling exposed. We were told some units simply don’t have one. Guests should know this when booking so they can make an informed choice.
-Air conditioning struggled. We were there during a particularly warm period, and the portable A/C downstairs couldn’t keep up with the desert heat, even with the curtains closed all day. An undersized portable A/C struggling to keep the room comfortable doesn’t exactly fit the definition of “luxury.”
-The bathroom needs maintenance. The rainfall showerhead was loose and crooked, and the shower door didn’t close properly. These are things that should be caught during a pre-arrival inspection.
-Disappointing, overpriced food. Breakfast at Sky Nova Café was disappointing. The eggs and sausage were badly overcooked, and the country breakfast was swimming in an unusual mustard-based sauce. At nearly $40, we expected better. We ate our other meals at Ruby’s or Bryce Lodge, with better choices at better prices.
Clear Sky has a great concept and excellent location, and we enjoyed parts of our stay. The domes are unique, the staff is friendly, and on a clear night, looking at the stars from bed is a memorable experience. However, at $700+ per night, our expectations were understandably high. The maintenance issues, flies, inconsistent amenities between domes, inadequate A/C, and disappointing food made the experience feel OK, but not the “Future of Luxury Glamping” advertised.
We’re glad we experienced Clear Sky, but based on our stay, we wouldn’t consider it a $700+ per night luxury experience, and we’re unlikely to return at that price.
We had the most amazing stay at Clear Sky Resorts! The views are absolutely stunning, the service is top-notch, and the rooms are incredible. Because we had completely clear skies every single night, we were able to see the stars perfectly right from our room.
The room itself was fantastic—the king bed was so comfortable, the restrooms are huge with more than enough space, and having a microwave and fridge in the room was incredibly convenient.
We ate breakfast and dinner at the Sky Nova Cafe every day, which is right on the property and made dining so easy and delicious. They also offer wonderful daily activities for guests; we loved the yoga, the sound bath, and the falcon meet-and-greet! To top it all off, they provide complimentary s'mores every night by the fire.
We will absolutely be coming back. This place is amazing!
