We chose this place because of it's 4.3 star rating, so were surprised to find the place so run down. No convenient place to potty our dog. The microwave turntable didn't work. The lamps and bedside clock had to be plugged in. The toilet seat was about 15" off the floor. The advertised continental breakfast was coffee, apple juice, and waffles. That's it. The coffee was horrible; we ended up pouring it out down the road and filled our travel mugs at a coffee shop in the next town.

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Bryce - convenient location for the national park. Stayed in room 108 and it was good overall. Clean rooms and comfortable beds with basic amenities like fridge, microwave, hair dryer (a little weak though), and an ice machine just round the corner. Floors were sticky so we kept our slippers on, some of the towels were a little stained, and one of the flat sheets had a lil burnt hole, but we were able to work around it. Good parking, great service, and great affordable option.

This is a budget hotel, so adjust expectations downward. There are some similarly priced hotels nearby. The Blue Pine (where I stayed on my last trip), for example is just around the corner. It is a bit older, but with renewed rooms and really great beds, and it is spotlessly clean. The Lamplighter is cheaper, but also clean and comfortable. What set the Econolodge apart was the note that breakfast is included. Not actually misleading or false, but a far stretch to call a single option breakfast. There is one waffle machine. That's it. No fruit, no toast, no pastries, no oatmeal, no cereal, no yogurt, no juice. The room was OK and the beds were decent. Not great, but decent. Next time, back to the Blue Pine. Then next door to the Cowboys Smokehouse Cafe and their great omlettes for breakfast.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and nice. However, the free breakfast was super sad. Worst hotel breakfast I've ever seen. All they had was dry bread and waffles. There was cereal, but no milk. There were no protein or fruit options. Very disappointing.

I was a bit disappointed. I stayed at this accommodation last year as well, and my experience back then was much better than it is now. Starting with the room: it was clean, but the bathroom was a different story. Both the bathtub and the sink were clogged, and overall it did not look very hygienic. The breakfast in the morning was also poor, especially by American standards. There was not even any bread to toast or any yogurt available. The only options were waffles and what seemed to be leftover milk from the previous day. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this accommodation.
