About

There's exactly one place to stay inside Bryce Canyon National Park, and this is it. The Lodge sits right at the canyon's edge, close enough to the Rim Trail that you can be watching hoodoos glow at sunrise before most visitors have even parked their cars. That location is genuinely hard to overstate.

The accommodations run from rooms in the historic lodge building to standalone cabins scattered among the pines. It's classic national park lodging: think rustic wood interiors, natural light, and a setting that does all the heavy lifting. No TVs, no WiFi to speak of, which is either a feature or a bug depending on your travel style. Come expecting a back-to-nature experience and you'll be right at home.

Dinner at the on-site restaurant is worth planning around. Reviewers consistently call it one of the better national park dining rooms they've encountered, which is saying something. Breakfast is a solid buffet option before you head out on the Navajo Loop or Queens Garden trails. The gift shop covers the basics for anything you forgot to pack.

The Lodge is about a two-minute drive from Inspiration Point and Bryce Point, and the Sunset and Sunrise motel-style rooms put you a short walk from the main trailheads. If your priority is waking up already inside the park and spending zero time in a car before your first hike, this is the obvious choice for Bryce Canyon lodging. Book early; it fills up fast, especially in summer.

We were incredibly excited to stay at Bryce Canyon Lodge because of its unbeatable location inside Bryce Canyon National Park, and while being so close to the canyon was certainly convenient, the overall experience didn't meet our expectations. The biggest disappointment was the level of service. Staff interactions felt minimal, and the hospitality simply wasn't what we had hoped for at a destination like this. The room itself also left a lot to be desired. While it was functional, the cleanliness could have been much better, and it didn't feel as well maintained as expected. We visited in July, and the lack of air conditioning made the room quite uncomfortable, especially after spending long days hiking in the summer heat. It made it difficult to fully relax and get a good night's sleep. We also dined at the lodge during our stay. The food was decent, but nothing particularly memorable—perfectly acceptable, but not a highlight of the trip. The one thing Bryce Canyon Lodge unquestionably has going for it is its incredible location. Being able to walk straight into Bryce Canyon National Park is a major advantage and made it easy to experience sunrise, sunset, and the trails without the hassle of driving. Overall, we loved Bryce Canyon itself, but the lodge didn't live up to the experience we were hoping for. With improved housekeeping, better guest service, and modern amenities like air conditioning, it could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

This lodge offers clean, comfortable rooms and is just steps from the canyon rim. We were able to wake up early and step right out to several hiking trails. Very friendly staff and delicious food at the on-site restaurant! Everyone had a welcoming smile!

The campus around thee lodge is great! Really quick walk to the canyon. The dining options at the lodge were great, and so was the pizza spot nearby! We stayed in the sunset motel part of the lodge and it was so nice to have our own little porch! All the workers we encountered were so nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Honestly, this place needs work – and a lot of it! The location is great as it’s onsite if you’re doing hiking in Bryce Canyon which is why we booked. For the price and what you get, total fail. As a hiker, you know you will be getting up early to get on the trail so you want to have a comfortable sleep. The lodge is dated, big time! The rooms don’t have a TV (which is odd) and need a significant facelift. The mattress was like a sack filled with leaves – not sure how old this mattress was, but definitely time to replace. The pillows are flat and should be thrown away. I had the worst night there which made the next day’s hike more challenging due to being so exhausted. The lodge charges enough money to people so they definitely need to step up with their maintenance. It’s not as though the money is being put towards grounds management as it’s a national park and the parks department takes care of that, so where are the funds going. This place is terrible and I would not recommend staying here. There are some new hotels being built outside the park’s grounds which will be a better option.

OMG! This is the best place and views u can find. When I travel from Arizona to Washington I always stop at the Bryce Canyon Lodge. They have a beautiful gift shop also. U can get Native American items of all sorts. I always want to shop my heart off. Beautiful hand done rugs, cloths, artwork, jewelry. Their restaurant is heavenly also. If ur like me and you like wildgame, u can get it here. . Take a beautiful horseback ride down thru the canyon to get the fullness and the culture of the canyon. Love it! 😘🙏🩷
