We parked our plane here for an overnight stay. The airport manager, Tye, was responsive and professional. He was able to refuel us right away. The facility was clean (including the restrooms).

Your aerial gateway to Utah's red rock country, with scenic flights and private aviation services.
Perched at 7,586 feet on the plateau above Utah's most spectacular scenery, Bryce Canyon Airport serves as both a practical aviation hub and a launching pad for unforgettable aerial adventures. The small regional airport handles private planes and charters, but the real draw for most visitors is the chance to see the hoodoos from above.
Scenic helicopter flights depart regularly, offering perspectives of the canyon that even the best rim trails can't match. The 35-minute tour follows the full length of Bryce Amphitheatre, revealing how the various amphitheaters connect and showcasing formations invisible from the ground. (Book ahead during peak season – the small operation can fill up fast.) Fixed-wing scenic flights are also available for those who prefer a smoother ride.
The FBO (fixed-base operator) maintains a reputation for exceptional hospitality. Pilots flying in find a clean, well-maintained facility with helpful staff eager to share local knowledge.
Services available:
Rental cars can be arranged for those arriving by private aircraft
Clean, well-maintained facilities
Knowledgeable local staff
The elevation demands respect – density altitude is a real consideration here, especially in summer.
Located just minutes from Ruby's Inn and the park entrance in Bryce Canyon City, the airport makes for an easy add-on to any Bryce Canyon National Park visit. Even if you're not flying, the observation area offers views across the plateau toward the park. For aviation enthusiasts or anyone wanting to experience southern Utah's landscape from a thrilling new angle, this little airport delivers something special.

We booked a 30-minute helicopter tour here for $240 per person. Everything went as planned; we were shown the most beautiful spots in Bryce Canyon, and the time was perfectly adequate! We were able to take beautiful videos and photos. Plus, the helicopter flight was a wonderful experience. Thanks to our pilot, Alex.

No queues at all here. Wonderfully quiet. We had booked a helicopter flight over Bryce Canyon here. That was very beautiful from up above. It did cost a pretty penny, but definitely worth it.
